Grzegorz Karnas

Polish singer, music producer, teacher, jazz promoter and linguist born in Upper Silesia, Poland, to a family devoid of academic musical traditions. Karnas has worked with Poland’s jazz legends as well as with top-line artists of Europe’s jazz scene. Awarded Grand Prix of jazz singers’ competitions in Poland, Belgium and France. His being notice by te juries, journalists and audiences got his Karnas Formula touring in Europe, Asia and Africa at major jazz festivals and in clubs. Since 2008 Karnas has been the spiritus movens of Intercultural Gathering for Creativity, Music and Expression “Voicingers” – an event contributing to both promotion of young jazz musicians as well as music education. His album under the title “KARNAS” was produced in 2011 by a Slovak label Hevhetia and his live performances from Budapest became successful releases under the Hungarian label BMC Records as Audio Beads (2012) and Vanga (2014) makig Karnas a distinctive element of the European jazz scene. Excepts form Karnas’ Chinese tour recordings have been released by Hevhetia under the title Powe Kiss (2017).

Edilson Sanchez

Colombian bassist and percussionist, Latin American music promoter. Edilson grew up in multicultural Bogota. He is a musician whose concept of rhythm goes beyond the knowledge of matter resulting from his upbringing in the European musical tradistion. Associated with the Slovak label Hevhetia, he has two albums to his credit. For his music, he draws inspiration from Colombian salsa and the music of the Colombian Pacific coasts from the Choco region.

Manu Domergue

Remarkable French singer, mellophone player, improviser and composer. He studied jazz, classical music and jazz singing at the conservatory in Valence, France. He also studied jazz singing in California (on a Fulbright scholarship). His group Raven was selected for a number of competitions, especially the Crest Jaz Vocal 2013 competition, where they won the first prize for both the jurors and the audience. Their first album Chercheur d’orage released in 2015 was awarded “essential” by the French magazine JAZZ NEWS. He is an experienced and acclaimed teacher, working with professionals and amateurs. He has collaborated with artists such as Mônica Psaaos, Roy Hargrove, Magma, and the Carine Bonnefoy Orchestra. He is an experienced and acclaimed teacher (Centre Des Musiques Didier Lockwood, Paris). “When Domergue is not singing, he recites, playing the accompanying instruments as if he were a soloist, an equally coherent role from start to finish, a little crazy, eccentric and more than fascinating…” – Franck Bergerot – Jazzmagazine.

Natalia Kordiak

Singer, composer, improviser. Nominated for the award of the Polish Phonographic Academy “FRYDERYK 2020” in the Phonographic Debut of The Year – Jazz category. Her debut, authorial album “Bajka”, which she created with her quintet, was released in October 2019 by the prestigious Slovak label Hevhetia, only after a few months was included in the summaries of the best jazz albums of 2019 by Jazz Forum Magazine and polish.jazzblogspot. In music she appreciates the authenticity of dialogue, being present and creating a space in which the boundary between reason and madness is blurred, and reality become an abstraction. Her voice, apart from broadly understood singing, was treated is as another instrument using various means of expression. A graduate of the Voicingers festival, A volcano of property to say on the verge of an eruption.

giuliano osella

Giuliano Osella

Giuliano was born in Cattolica (Italy) in 1988 and began playing the drums at the age of 6. After a few years of learning the rudiments with a local teacher, he started to study jazz more seriously with Glauco Oleandri, until 2006 when he decided to continue his studies at Music Academy Europe in Bologna. Alongside his studies in Bologna, he learnt from a range of esteemed drummers during this time including Chris Coleman, Dom Famularo, Gergo Borali, John Favicchia, Christian Meyer, and Bruno Farinelli. In 2014 Giuliano moved to London and has become highly sought after in a wide range of different styles playing with a myriad of ensembles including London Afrobeat Collecitve, Kadialy Kouyate, Abdoulaye Samb, Don Kipper, Noga Ritter, Go Go Megafon and Al Maranca. Since his move he has enjoyed a sprawling career performing at festivals and events internationally including Wilderness, Sziget (Hungary), Shambala and ImaginaFunk (Spain) and supporting an impressive cast of legendary musicians on tour including Femi Kuti, Fred Wesley, The Sugar Hill Gang, Benjamin Zephaniah, Jazzy Jeff and Gloria Gaynor.

 

Karolina Micor

Singer, songwriter, piano player, music teacher. She started playing piano when she was seven years old. She graduated from the Academy of Music in Katowice. During her time as a musician, she has been participating in many competitions, gaining invaluable experience, as well as titles and prizes. She doesn’t allow the limitations hold her back, and as a result has been successfully playing classical music with orchestras as well as jazz, soul, funk, hip hop, electronic pop, experimental with various contemporary bands. Gosia Janek

A free spirit, singer and songwriter. Winner of many excellent music festivals, as well as popular TV programs (Chance of Success, The Voice). She currently lives in London where she sings with the local jazz band Alle Choir and co-creates the blues and soul duo TripAdvisor. 

Anita Łazińska

Singer, pianist, composer. She graduate of the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz and the London Music School in London. She loves jazz harmonies, improvisation and rhythmic and melodic frolics that escape stylistic frames.
