Francusko-kanadyjski multiinstrumentalista urodzony we Francji w 1987 roku. Valentin rozpoczął grę na afrykańskiej perkusji w wieku 14 lat w zespole muzycznym z Senegalu. Pod kierunkiem swojego ojca pianisty, w wieku 16 lat zaczął grać na gitarze i perkusji. Swoje umiejętności doskonalił grając niezliczone koncerty w zespołach o zróżnicowanej stylistyce. Roczny pobyt w Maroku z triem wzbogacił jego repertuar i dał mu okazję do tworzenia własnych kompozycji. Pomimo że przez niemal dwie dekady był samoukiem, zdecydował się podjąć dwuletnią, formalną edukację w podparyskim CMDL (Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood), gdzie pierwszy rok poświęcił na lekcje śpiewu, a drugi na grę na perkusji. Studia ukończył z wyróżnieniem. Valentin to głęboką studnia pozytywnych wibracji.

Valentin Martel : A French-Canadian multi-instrumentalist born in France in 1987, he began playing African percussion at the age of 14 with a Senegalese musical troupe. Under the guidance of his pianist father, he later picked up the guitar and drums at the age of 16. Through numerous concerts across various musical genres, he honed his skills, and a year-long stint playing in Morocco with a trio provided him with a rich repertoire and the opportunity to craft his own compositions. Despite being primarily self-taught for nearly two decades, he made the decision to pursue formal training at the CMDL (Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood) in Paris for two years—one year focusing on singing classes and another on drums. He graduated with honors. A human well of positive vibrations.
