Guitarist Hoàng Tùng – a name familiar to the Jazz music community in Vietnam. Developing from a background in Classical Guitar at the National Academy of Music, Hoàng Tùng has “found a passion” for Jazz and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz music from the National Academy of Music, and a Master’s degree in Music Education from Poland.

Returning to Vietnam, Hoàng Tùng has always been a top choice for Jazz Concerts and Jazz Festivals organized both domestically and internationally. These include the Monsoon Festival in 2014, the Green Town of Jazz Festival 2017 in Poland, the 2018 Jazz and Friends Concert at the National Academy of Music in Vietnam, and the Folk on Jazz/Folk on Strings Concert in 2020.

In 2020, Hoàng Tùng co-produced the Jazz album “Duyên” with saxophonist Quyền Thiện Đắc. This is one of the most well-known Jazz albums among young people in Vietnam today. Tùng is an all-smiles type of guy.
