Skeptemistic is establishing themselves as a new upcoming band performing mostly original songs composed by front man Jonathan Ramirez Garcia, born and raised in Tijuana, who’s intent is to introduce some songs of his life, shedding an “inner resonance” with soul grooves and chilled out tempos, such as one of his newest songs entitled “Mercy” reflecting on the 7 sins and social injustice. Soul grooves that carry lyrics reflection turbulent real life stories

Born in Wodzisław Śląski. Registered place of residence since he was three: erstwhile coal-mining town of Żory, in an apartment building overlooking two power stations, three to five mines and several mounds of rubble, with a view of forests and mountains on the southern horizon. Unrealised Roman, English and Arabic philologist, graduate of a Jazz Institute considered prestigious in Eastern Europe. Winner of awards at various jazz competitions, music producer. Performing record includes appearances at numerous clubs and concert venues including those in Poland. An individual watching closely the nature of extremes of every type. One of the most import ant and promising tenor and soprano saxophonists of the young generation. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Jazz in the Music College in Warsaw and Academy of Music in Katowice. He is also a laureate of International Jazz Soloist Competition of Monte Carlo. As a sideman, Nowicki has worked with many outstanding figures of the Polish jazz and light music scene. Independently of other artistic work, he runs his own quartet as the leader. Although he is an admired musician, he does not record very often, but when it eventually happens, the results are excellent. The man from the forest.

The band is inspired by, inter alia, the customs of the Boykos and Lemkos – ethnic groups living in Bieszczady before 1947, musical culture of South-Eastern Poland (Lubelszczyzna – Polish historical region that encompasses Lublin) and the ethnic groups of modern Ukraine. In the autumn of 2013 TOŁHAJE received a proposal to co-create music for a new TV series “Wataha”, HBO Poland. Energetic merger of ethnic music form Bieszczady with modern sounds influenced by elements of improvisation

Alina’s music can be described as acoustic fusion of jazz, Russian folk, and classical music. Since late 2000s, Alina works with her own band, Jazzmobile. She experiments with   styles,   sings   both   in   Russian   and   English,   and   experiments   with   different techniques of  instrumental  singing  (without  words)  ranging  from  jazzy  scat  to modern classical vocalise.
